Walmart sells a half gallon of "fat free milk" for $1.60 (Nowhere on the label does it say the word "skim).
All the other major grocery stores sell "skim milk" for over $2.00. Difference being it has the word "skim"

Both products say: fat free

So if they are the same, how does Walmart sell for so much cheaper ?

Milk varies a lot in price all over the place because some places like to use it as a loss leader. It's the same thing.

Soy milk tastes better than cow's milk. Especially the vanilla type. Believe it or not, soy milk has less sugar. Lactose is the sugar in milk and even though cow's milk doesn't taste sweet it contains a lot of lactose.

I like Cracklin' Oat Bran and vanilla soy milk or oatmeal and soy milk for breakfast.

quantumleap, just couldnt be more right. Good points.

I have not bought some SOY milk in some time. I just bought some regular last friday, and I said man I wish I got the vanilla. Because I had that before, and really liked it. Sweet tasting, but very good for you.

It [soy milk] tends to make you less bloated than regular milk. I truly believe it is more healthy.

Thanks for this info. I will try soy milk. Had been scared to try it as I feared it tasted funny!
Been drinking skim milk for years and was amazed to see Walmart selling for that much less tahn ALL the grocery stores in the area. But then, I didn't see the word SKIM on Walmart's label, so I figured it might be an inferior product.:103631605

Just plain ol' breast milk is the way to go guys.

Good in cereal, soups, and my favorite: good for dipping oreo's in.
